Since 1975, Rayflex Group has grown from a family-run industrial rubber business into a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of industrial protection solutions. Where It All Began: Industrial Rubber in 1975

Rayflex was established in 1975, with its roots firmly in the manufacture and distribution of industrial rubber products.

During our early years, we supplied businesses with rubber materials suited to a wide range of industrial applications. These products provided the foundation for our development and remain an important part of our offering today.

As customer requirements changed, we recognised opportunities to expand into new product areas, allowing us to support a wider range of industries and applications.

Expanding into PVC Manufacturing

A significant stage in our development came with the expansion of our industrial PVC product range.

Rayflex became a major UK manufacturer and distributor of PVC strip curtains, flexible PVC sheets, PVC rolls and related products. These materials are now widely used in warehouses, factories, food production facilities and cold stores.

Our PVC strip curtains provide a flexible barrier that allows people and vehicles to move between working areas whilst helping to reduce draughts, control temperatures and limit the movement of dust.

This expansion allowed us to offer more than traditional industrial rubber supplies, supporting businesses with environmental separation, temperature management and workplace protection.

Becoming Rayflex Group

In 2015, we celebrated our 40th anniversary by changing our name from Rayflex Rubber Ltd to Rayflex Group.

The rebrand reflected how far the company had developed since its establishment and brought together our growing expertise in industrial PVC products, rubber supplies and impact doors.

It also marked an important change in how we served our customers. Rather than focusing on individual product categories, we were increasingly supplying products that addressed multiple requirements across industrial sites.

Our family-run values remained central to the business, supported by decades of manufacturing experience and product knowledge.

Developing a Wider Range of Industrial Protection Products

Over the last decade, Rayflex has continued to expand into new areas of industrial protection.

The introduction and development of our industrial dividers and partitions, including Screenflex, has allowed us to help businesses separate large working areas without the need for permanent internal walls.

These products are particularly useful for warehouses and manufacturing facilities that need to create designated production areas, control dust or manage different working environments.

Alongside our industrial partitions, we have developed our warehouse and site safety offering to include products such as bollards, racking protection, dock bumpers and impact doors.
