Industrial PVC strip doors can be used to offer a flexible and effective separation between two spaces or work areas. Most commonly industrial curtains and PVC strip doors are found in warehouses and factories, cold rooms and walk in freezers to prevent the escape of chilled air.

Industrial PVC strip doors are low cost, easy to install and very low maintenance. They are an excellent way to maintain temperatures within a space whilst also preventing vermin from entering a building.

Industrial PVC strip doors come in a range of different thicknesses, from internal grades (2 mm strips) through to more heavy duty outdoor grades (3-4 mm PVC strips). The lighter indoor grades of PVC strip are much better suited for pedestrian access. They will not withstand constant use by vehicles nor offer high resistance to the outdoor elements.

External PVC strip doors typically feature up to 100% overlap and this offers superb protection from the outdoor elements and means they can withstand repeated access by vehicles such as fork lift trucks. If regular access by fork lift trucks is required, then it is often more convenient to fit sliding strip curtains to allow for better access. Full 100% overlap is recommended for industrial curtains over 3.5 metres in height in order to offer full protection from outside elements.
