PVC Strip Curtains - How to Measure Your Opening

Measuring for a PVC strip curtain is simple:

  1. Measure the clear opening width (left to right).
  2. Measure the clear opening height (floor to the underside of the lintel or fixing position).
  3. Submit these dimensions using our quote form or instant price calculator.

Simply provide the clear opening width and height, and we'll do the rest.

As standard, we manufacture our PVC strip curtains with allowances to ensure effective coverage:

  • 100mm added to the overall curtain width
  • 50mm added to the overall curtain length

This helps ensure the curtain provides good environmental control while maintaining easy access for people and vehicles.

Tip: If your PVC strip curtain will be fitted within a recess and the hanging rail must not extend beyond the opening width, please let us know when requesting your quotation. In these situations, the standard width allowance may not be suitable, and we will adjust the specification to suit your available fixing space.
